With over 25 years of experience in orthodontics, Dr. Steve Hershcopf still feels it is a privilege to serve his community. Having the opportunity to treat his patients energizes him every day. His level of enthusiasm doesn’t stop with his patients, but continues with his commitment to his profession. He has served with distinction as the leader of both the Hartford and New Britain Dental Societies. He is still actively representing his dental colleagues on the state and local levels.

In his continuing pursuit of excellence, Dr. Hershcopf is one of the few orthodontists in Connecticut to have gone beyond the traditional orthodontic education and achieved board certified status. His cases were chosen for publication in the Orthodontic Society’s National Journal as an example for others to follow.

At home, Dr. Hershcopf doesn’t rest, eagerly participating in all types of sports and leaving time to enjoy his wife, Nancy, and two sons, Brian and Ron.
